The Reflector Table was commissioned by a
photographer for the family living room. After many design
ideas I happened upon an old flash reflector I found in a cabinet. The reflector circle with its interlocking triangular leaves became the basis for the final table design. Each of the six reflector leaves that make up the bottom float on sliding dovetails. The six shelves are mounted to steel supports that are welded to bearings pressed onto a center shaft, and spin independently of each other. The effect being similar to the actual reflector. 42" diameter X 20" high. Cherry, Soapstone, Rosewood pegs and dovetails, and Laquer.
